Position Summary
Real Life Christian Academy is seeking passionate and dedicated educators to join our team as Upper Elementary Teachers (3rd–4th Grade) for the 2026–2027 school year. This posting is intended to build a pool of qualified candidates for potential teaching opportunities within the upper elementary grade band.
Teachers at RLCA play a vital role in creating a Christ-centered learning environment where students are encouraged to grow academically, spiritually, and socially. Final grade-level placement will be determined based on school needs and the candidate’s experience and strengths.
Key Responsibilities
● Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons that support student learning and growth
● Foster a Christ-centered classroom environment that reflects the mission and values of Real Life Christian Academy
● Assess student progress and communicate effectively with parents and families
● Collaborate with fellow teachers and academy leadership to support student success
● Integrate faith and biblical principles into daily instruction and classroom culture
● Maintain a positive, organized, and safe classroom environment
Minimum Qualifications
● Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field
● Florida teaching certification or eligibility for certification
● A personal commitment to the mission and values of Real Life Christian Academy
● Strong classroom management and communication skills
Preferred Attributes
● Previous teaching experience within upper elementary education
● Experience in Christian education
● A heart for ministry and student discipleship
● Strong collaboration and communication skills

Background Screening & Compliance
All employees and volunteers working with students at Real Life Christian Academy are required to complete a Level 2 background screening in accordance with Florida law. This screening includes fingerprinting through the Florida Department of Education’s Clearinghouse. Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of all required background screenings and compliance with state regulations for school personnel.
