Baptism is an opportunity for believers to publically proclaim Jesus is Lord! It marks the beginning of a new journey in Christ. It symbolizes the cleansing of sin, being buried with Christ, and being raised into a new life. If you’ve made a commitment to follow Jesus, Baptism is your next step.

At Real Life, we believe Baptism is a time of celebration and public declaration. You can be baptized during our weekend worship experience at any of our campuses. We are prepared with everything you may need, including a change of clothes and towels.

Is there a specific age requirement?

Baptism can occur at any age when an individual accepts Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. There is no specific age requirement.

What is the significance of the water used in baptism?

Water in baptism symbolizes purification and cleansing of one’s sin. When raised up from the water, we are born again and can experience new life in Christ.

Do I need to be baptized to be saved or to become a Christian?

Baptism is important, but it doesn’t save you. Salvation comes through faith in Jesus Christ. Baptism is an outward expression of that faith and should follow a genuine commitment to Christ.

What role does baptism play in my spiritual journey?

Baptism acts as a reminder of God’s grace and your new commitment toward Him. It also serves as an encouragement as you grow in a new relationship with Christ and follow His teachings.
