Location: 31205 Round Lake Rd, Mt. Dora, FL 32757
Position: This is a full-time or part-time, Monday-Friday position at the Mt. Dora campus preschool.
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Nurture and guide children to promote their social, emotional, physical, intellectual and spiritual growth through our curriculum and age appropriate lessons
- Ensure the health and wellbeing of all children at all times
- Establish and maintain a respectful relationship with parents, families and co-workers
Qualifications:
General Requirements:
- Professes Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior
- Is an immersed believer; an active member of a church
Education:
- HS diploma or GED
- Have or obtain DCF state mandated training within first 90 days of employment
- Interest in furthering education: CDA, FCCPC or degree in field
- Have or obtain training on the CLASS (classroom assessment scoring system)
Work Experience:
- Minimum 1yrs. experience as a teacher assistant or substitute in an early learning environment.
Skills/Ability:
- Evolving knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices in Early Childhood Education
- Responsible, respectful, and punctual
